The Mt. Boucherie Skating Club has the only Nationally Recognized Learn to Skate Program on the Westside. Our highly trained NCCP Certified professional coaches will make sure that your child has all the tools needed to learn the basics needed in skating.

CanSkate is Skate Canada's flagship learn-to-skate program, designed for beginners of all ages. When you sign up for CanSkate you will be in a program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. You will earn badges and other incentives as you learn fundamental skating skills. Lessons are given in a group format and led by an NCCP certified professional coach. Professional coaches are assisted by trained Program Assistants. The coach to student ratio is a maximum of 1:10. Skaters progress at their own rate and coaches make sessions active using teaching aids, music and a wide variety of activities that create a fun environment and promote learning.

NEW Power Skating Class!
We are pleased to announce that we've added an additional power skating class to our schedule. This will allow us to offer a great class to more skaters at various skill levels.
Intro Power - Geared towards those who have just started playing ringette or hockey, or who plan to next season.
Basic Power Skating - For those who are playing on a ringette or hockey team and demonstrate strong forward and basic backward skating skills.
Advanced Power Skating - For those ringette and hockey players who demonstrate very stong forward and strong backward skating skill and who are looking to acheive new levels of skating success by learning complex turning, edging and balance skills.
