BC/YK AGM Awards Evening - Phoebe Kemp

The 2015 Skate Canada British Columbia Yukon AGM and Awards banquet is always a wonderful finish to a busy skating season. This year was no exception. The Mt. Boucherie Skating Club had a large group attend this years meetings and awards evening. During the awards banquet skaters, coaches and volunteers are presented with awards and recognition for their contributions during the current season.

This year was a special year for the MBSC. Senior skater Phoebe Kemp was recognized for her success this season and for her ability to overcome her battle with diabetes while continuing to reach her goals in skating. Phoebe's award was presented by Tracy Wilson, Jeremy Ten, Nicole Orford and BC Section Executive Director Ted Barton.

It was a touching event and we hope even more members can attend next year!
