Nina Greschner
Director of Skating

Nina brings a diverse and dynamic background to her role as Skating Director and Coach at MBSC. After a successful competitive journey as a young skater, she transitioned to professional skating and toured internationally for ten years as a principal performer with Disney On Ice, honing her understanding of performance, musicality, and storytelling on a global stage.
An NCCP Provincial Coach and BootyBarre® instructor, Nina has been coaching since 2012 and is known for her collaborative and athlete-centric approach. In the early 2020s, she contributed to the global skating community by designing and delivering coaching development curriculum across multiple cities in China, sharing her passion for mentorship, skill progression, and long-term athlete development.
With a background in audio engineering, Nina possesses a unique perspective on program planning, ensuring that music and movement harmoniously enhance each skater’s performance and training.
As Skating Director, she is dedicated to leading MBSC with integrity and creativity, creating an environment that supports, challenges, and inspires skaters to achieve their full potential.
Sarah Barton
Director of Learn to Skate Programs / Team Coach

Sarah is proud to call the Okanagan home, having spent much of her skating career training at the Kelowna Skating Club. As a competitive athlete, she was a multiple-time provincial medalist and represented Canada on both national and international stages, including the Canadian Championships and the North American Challenge in women’s singles. Sarah was also an accomplished pair skater.
A provincially certified coach with nearly 15 years of coaching experience, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep love for the sport to every session. Her coaching journey has taken her across the country—from the Burnaby 8-Rinks CanSkate program to a decade in Oakville, Ontario—where she’s worked with skaters of all ages and skill levels.
Known for her thoughtful and balanced approach, Sarah blends technical precision with artistic development, always aiming to build confidence, strong fundamentals, and a genuine joy for skating. Whether it’s a child’s first glide across the ice or an athlete preparing for competition, Sarah is committed to helping each skater grow and thrive.
Steve Muff
Team Coach / Advisor

Steve has coached at the Mount Boucherie Skating Club for over 25 years. He is a National level NCCP Level 3 Certified coach with partial NCCP Level 4 Certification. During his time with the MBSC Steve has produced multiple Provincial Champions, Provincial Medalists, and National Competitors. He is an expert in both the DartFish Video Analysis system and Pro Motion Harness System. Since the inception of the International Judging System Steve has been involved with the International Skating Union working at International Events in places such as Japan, Korea, Hungary, Lake Placid - New York, Mexico, Germany, Finland, Iceland, China, Italy, and coast to coast in Canada. Steve’s worked with Skate Canada at numerous national championships as a member of the technical panel as well as a technical producer for Skate Canada Productions live streaming. In addition to being a team coach and advisor at the MBSC, Steve is the Director of Technology and Production Services for Skate Canada BC/YT Section. Steve is deeply involved with the development of skating in British Columbia. Away from the rink Steve enjoys playing tennis, skiing, biking, hiking, and photography/videography.

Brittany Belyea
Team Coach

Originally from Alberta, Brittany grew up in Edmonton where she trained at the Royal Glenora Club and competed in Novice competitive singles. She worked to achieve quad gold status in freeskate, skills, dance, and interpretive. After her competitive years, she continued on with a skating team in University followed by a few years on a synchronized skating team.
Brittany is Regional coach certified with 8 years of coaching experience and strives to help provide skaters with the skills to reach their goals and develop a joy of skating that lasts a lifetime. She brings a creative background, working in graphic design and sports photography outside of coaching.
Megan Scowen
Team Coach

Megan welcomes a safe space for everyone. Born and raised in the Okanagan, she has been skating with the Mount Boucherie Skating Club for over 12 years. She has had a successful competitive journey competing all around the Okanagan, and always encourages the next generations to accomplish their goals.
As an NCCP Skate Canada Coach, Megan has worked with all age groups, helping skaters reach their highest potential and deliver a positive environment. Outside of coaching Megan enjoys skiing and snowboarding in the winter seasons, listening to music, and enjoys spending her time studying at the UBCO campus.
