Teen Skate (Beginner Figure Skating)
This program offers a group-based learning experience, focusing on teaching fundamental figure skating techniques essential for teens looking to dive into the world of figure skating.

Basic Figure Skating Skills: Learn foundational moves, balance techniques, and essential on-ice exercises

Skill Refinement: Learn basic jumps, spins, and edges under the guidance of skilled coaches.

Expression through Performance: Explore creativity in choreography and learn the art of showcasing your talent on the ice.

Safety and Rink Etiquette: Understand and implement safety measures while navigating the rink confidently.
No refunds except for medical reasons, with a doctor’s certificate. Refunds will be in the form of ‘credits’ and will be subject to a $35 Administration Fee.

Proper figure skates play a crucial role in a skater’s safety, development, and overall enjoyment on the ice. We strongly encourage skaters and parents to consult with our Director of Skating for guidance on the correct skate model and where to purchase.

In addition to the fees for our skating programs, classes, and ice time, all members in our Figure Skating program will be subject to a once-per-season fee of $135.00. This fee covers the Skate Canada Insurance/Membership fee and a $75.00 fundraising fee. This amount will automatically be added to your registration invoice at the beginning of the season.
